Biography
I was born in Redding California and raised in Visalia where I went to school from elementary to college. I started riding at Riata Ranch International when I was 9 and then continued to make a career out of my passion. To date I have traveled to 22 countries on 5 continents sharing our western and ranching heritage through horses and western performance arts. In 2002 I became the Executive Director for Riata Ranch after the passing of the founder, Tom Maier. My late husband, Chad Nicholson, was a professional rodeo announcer and voice talent to whom I owe my success today to his encouragement, support and love. Today our mission is to connect people to horses and the ranching lifestyle through Horsemanship, Mentorship, Leadership, Education and Community Service.
